They finally had to go. Even after being taken to the wrong airport. (by me) Great trip! These guys had a ton of knowledge and did a great job of teaching it. I have to Thank Master Lloyd for bringing these guys out. I would recommend to anyone to have them come do a seminar. Even with my limited flexibility…
I was able to accomplish all the movements and make them work! We had the pleasure of training all week with them so it was a grind but really worth it. Ready to get on the mat and rock -n -roll and start using this stuff!
Imagine…3 times a day with these guys. Every class JT Torres and I going through these movements they are showing and making them work the same day. And not just on lower belts but on each other. Rafa and Gui were great teachers and training partners. Thanks again guys for coming!

Todays training was off the chain….great additions to some familiar techniques and cant wait to get to drilling to figure these badboys out. Really excited for tomorrows training…mainly to spar and see what the deal is with my new stuffs!
check out training from earlier!
The second day has gone by and i am beat! 3 training sessions a day and each one packed with great stuff. Awesome techniques being shown so i cant wait to see what the seminar holds!
Today was a lot of sweeps and already have some working into my game….these guys have a great understanding and are awesome at their teaching. Tomorrow holds? we shall see!
Check out this video of the promotions from last night!
Todays triaining with the Mendes Bros was fantastic. We trained 3 times and i sweated thru 3 gi’s. We learned a lot of great techniques…these guys are top notch. Cant wait to see what the rest of the week holds.
Also today was a great day for promotions! Tracey Goodell was awarded her Brown Belt. Frank Camacho and DJ Jackson got their Purple Belts! They have been working hard, kicking ass and taking names at the World Championships. Tracey has made the transition from Blue to Brown faster than anyone i have ever seen. Cant wait to see what the future holds. Frank and DJ recently closed out their Middle Weight division and have been winning everything else.

Check out this choke i did back in 2003. I just learned the choke a few weeks earlier….i watched master lloyd do it to someone and then i thought i would give it a try!
Next week is our training camp with the Mendes Bros. Its gonna be awesome …3 training sessions per day. it will be great in preperation for the new year of tournaments coming our way. Im excited to try out some old things that i havent been doing. Trying to reincorporate them into my game!
Dont forget that the seminar is open to all!
Attn all ladies in the area…please come and support one of the biggest names in our sport!
How often do you switch up your game? Its important to not get one sided when training. You should have a few moves from every position and work on all of them. Left side and right side. If someone were to put you in a kimura on your right arm and you were underneath their crosside, would you now how to get out? I always try to get good at things on both sides that way no matter what i can do them either way. Makes jiujitsu less stressful and more fun.
