Saturday practice
Great saturday practice! Spent 3 hours on leg lock holds. I miss attacking leg locks in
tournaments. Gearing up for 2011 it would be good to start implementing these locks back
in.
Back in 1999 they called Master Lloyd the king of legllocks. Gringo casca grossa… One
tough American. Master Lloyd was the first American to beat a Brazilian in brazil and he
did it when he was a brown belt. Tapping Esfiha with an ankle lock in the Brazilian team
championships.
So today’s class was excellent on showing some new things to add into our notebook.

Time to keep up with this thing.
I’m horrible at keeping up with this thing, but I’m trying at it again. New things in place for the training leading into 2011 Mundials. Cant wait for a tournament to test things out on. Looking forward to the new season and the tournaments to come throughout the year.
The Team did fantastic at the Worlds! And good things going to happen in the time to come. Everyone is getting stronger, more efficient and systems are working just as drilled. Ready to get back on the mat and get to work!
Congrats Tracey and Willie!!
On winning Brasileiros and receiving your purple belts!
I suck!
at updating this blog! im doing my best to keep on it and keep everyone updated with the latest and greatest with mike Fowler and Team Lloyd Irvin!
With Pan Ams out of the way…we are gearing up for the NY open and then off to brazil for the nationals!
